    **Self-Reflection End of Course**
The decision-making in all aspects of account management is informed and based on professional ethical practice and good discipline, which is anchored on a sustainable client relationship. It is also crucial in ensuring that decisions are strategic, data integrity-focused, and fair. The analysis methods and rational thinking of the objectives are used to balance business interests, client satisfaction, and social responsibility. The reflective post can be linked to the things and ideas I have gained throughout the course, which have contributed to my personal and professional development. It demonstrates how transparency, critical thinking, and evidence-based decision-making can be applied in collective practice to enhance organizational performance and address ethical issues in leadership practice.
A data-driven prioritization module was the most influential factor in my account approach. The evaluation of accounts on a strategic and downside risk basis was included in the tasks I was assigned. Structured prioritization frameworks have been shown to enhance resource allocation and client retention (Ojra et al., 2021). I combine my short-term revenue objectives with the health of long-term relationships in my list of priorities. The course enabled me to develop competency in quantitative segmentation and scenario-based planning. I had undergone predictive workflow build training and account portfolio stress testing. Nowadays, research has demonstrated that predictive modeling enhances predictive quality and decision trade-offs in complex environments (Csaszar et al., 2024). Therefore, I apply model results to obtain more precise, evidence-based recommendations.
The account management will be used to facilitate equal access to service. I create pricing and service strategies to minimize obstacles to bad clients. A scientific literature review reveals that data-driven interventions and systematic pricing can significantly enhance outreach and inclusion (Putri & Sianipar, 2025). However, I strategically ensure that the commercial interests are aligned with the social impact that can be proved.
I applied course concepts to working governance and work manifolds. To ensure accountability, I have established decision protocols for sales, finance, and legal checkpoints. The strategic accounting literature has indicated that governance checkpoints and auditable processes ensure the auditability and reduce bias in strategic accounting (Ojra et al., 2021). Therefore, I will have a higher probability of applying these checkpoints in my future leadership. I was forced to confront untidy data and conflicting stakeholder interests, addressing them through rigorous data cleaning and informed decision-making. The reviews of CRM and big data integration indicate that clean data practices and formal decision architecture enhance the outcome of the negotiation process and the fidelity of the implementation (Putri & Sianipar, 2025). Through this, I made a straightforward improvement to my trade-off.
In conclusion, evidence-based account management may be regarded as one of the pillars of establishing strategic and social value. It makes sure that such decisions are profitable, sustainable, and ethical. I can foster long-term client trust and relationships through the application of information analytics, effective governance structures, and transparency. I would also be determined to engage in the continuous learning process, keep up with new technologies, and translate analytical knowledge into fair, accountable, and responsible activities. A disciplined personality will enable me to achieve high client production, maintain organizational integrity, and engage in social responsibility.

Throughout this course, I have gained a deeper understanding of how information systems serve as a foundation for organizational success, decision-making, and ethical leadership.  The integration of managerial accounting, sustainability, ethics, and information systems has shaped my perspective on how data-driven strategies can promote both profitability and positive social change.  This reflection summarizes the most impactful lessons, skills, and challenges I encountered and how these experiences have contributed to my professional and personal growth.
    ### **Key Lessons and Topics of Impact**
One of the most impactful topics in this course was the exploration of how information systems support managerial decision-making.  Learning how tools such as break-even analysis, net present value (NPV), and other capital budgeting methods inform organizational strategy was particularly influential.  These topics demonstrated how data and technology can translate complex financial and operational information into actionable insights.  This reinforced the importance of accuracy, transparency, and ethical responsibility when using financial data to guide decisions (Franklin, Graybeal, & Cooper, 2019a).
Additionally, the discussions on ethical standards in managerial accounting (Byars & Stanberry, 2018a; Franklin et al., 2019) highlighted the critical role of integrity in decision-making.  The emphasis on the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) ethical principles, competence, confidentiality, integrity, and credibility, reminded me that strong information systems alone are not enough; they must be supported by ethical leadership and accountability.
    ### **New Knowledge and Skills Acquired**
This course helped me strengthen my analytical and strategic thinking skills, particularly through financial and sustainability-based decision-making frameworks.  Learning to apply concepts such as the triple bottom line (TBL), which considers people, planet, and profit, expanded my understanding of how businesses can integrate social responsibility into their operations (Franklin et al., 2019a).  Additionally, I developed greater confidence in using quantitative tools like NPV, IRR, and payback period analyses to evaluate investments and determine long-term feasibility.
I also enhanced my communication and leadership skills through learning about the art of questioning (Marquardt, 2014a, 2014b).  I discovered how asking thoughtful, open-ended questions can foster collaboration, uncover inefficiencies, and drive organizational innovation.  Applying this approach in my professional setting has already improved how I engage team members, allowing me to identify bottlenecks, reduce costs, and improve communication; particularly within multi-site veterinary operations.
    ### **Applying Knowledge Toward Positive Social Change**
The integration of information systems with ethical management and sustainability provides a powerful framework for positive social change.  For instance, leveraging data transparency and performance metrics helps ensure equitable resource use and environmental responsibility.  As Franklin et al. (2019b) noted, sustainability initiatives that use accurate data and technology can strengthen community relationships and enhance long-term value creation.
In my professional practice, I plan to use these principles to develop policies and systems that not only optimize business performance but also prioritize environmental compliance, ethical practices, and employee well-being.  Incorporating questioning techniques and data-driven decision-making can help cultivate a culture of integrity and continuous improvement; key drivers of positive change within any organization.
    ### **Challenges and How I Overcame Them**
One of the primary challenges I encountered during this course was balancing the technical and ethical aspects of managerial accounting.  Initially, I focused heavily on numerical analysis without fully considering the human and environmental implications of financial decisions.  However, by engaging with readings such as _Business Ethics_ by Byars and Stanberry (2018b, 2018c), I learned that sustainable success requires alignment between profitability and ethical conduct.
    ### **Conclusion**
This course has been transformative, equipping me with both the technical and ethical tools necessary for responsible leadership.  I now view managerial accounting and information systems not just as operational tools, but as mechanisms for transparency, sustainability, and social responsibility.  Moving forward, I will apply these lessons to make data-driven yet values-based decisions that align organizational goals with community well-being.  By combining ethical awareness, questioning techniques, and analytical skills, I am better prepared to act as an effective agent of positive social change; creating value for both my organization and society at large.

The topic Marketing Strategies to Influence Buyer Behavior Product and Service Innovation explore how companies use innovation not only to create value but also to shape how consumers think, feel, and act toward their offerings. Buyer behavior refers to the decision-making process consumers go through when purchasing goods or services, and marketing strategies aim to influence these decisions by aligning innovation with customer needs and perceptions. Product and service innovation whether through new features, improved quality, digital experiences, or enhanced support helps businesses differentiate themselves and increase perceived value, thereby encouraging purchase and loyalty. Effective marketing strategies communicate these innovations clearly, reduce perceived risk, and use tools such as personalization, social proof, and experiential marketing to make new offerings more appealing and easier to adopt. Moreover, service innovation enhances the customer experience after purchase, building long-term satisfaction and trust. Learning about this topic has a significant impact because it connects theory with practice, showing how innovation, consumer psychology, and strategic marketing interact to drive success in real-world markets. It deepened understanding of how businesses can strategically design and promote innovative products and services to influence buyer decisions, adapt to changing consumer behaviors, and maintain competitiveness in a fast-evolving, value-driven marketplace.

I learned to analyze buyer behavior through psychological and sociological perspectives, gaining insight into the factors that influence consumer decisions and how marketing messages can shape values and attitudes. This deeper understanding allowed me to see marketing as a tool not only for driving sales but also for promoting ethical practices, sustainability, and social responsibility. I also developed practical skills in designing data-driven and socially conscious marketing strategies, evaluating innovation performance, and measuring the social outcomes of campaigns. These new competencies strengthened my ability to approach marketing with integrity and purpose, enabling me to craft initiatives that encourage responsible consumption, support inclusive innovations, and inspire positive behavioral change. Ultimately, this course empowered me to become a more effective agent of positive social change by equipping me with the knowledge and skills to use marketing as a force for good creating value for both organizations and the communities they serve.
**Provides a thorough and detailed description of how they see the concepts and lessons learned in this course being applicable to real-life situations or their future career path. Several specific examples support their thinking.**
The concepts and lessons I learned in this course are highly applicable to real-life situations and will greatly influence my future career, particularly in marketing, business development, and social entrepreneurship. By understanding buyer behavior, I can apply psychological and data-driven insights to predict consumer responses and design more effective marketing strategies that meet diverse customer needs. For example, in a future marketing role, I could use market segmentation and consumer profiling to create personalized campaigns for eco-conscious customers or develop loyalty programs that build long-term engagement. The knowledge I gained about product and service innovation will also help me contribute to projects that bring new, socially responsible solutions to the market such as promoting sustainable products or improving customer experiences through service enhancements. Moreover, the emphasis on ethical marketing and corporate social responsibility has taught me how to align business goals with social good, a perspective that is invaluable if I work with social enterprises or nonprofit organizations. I can apply these lessons to create campaigns that inspire behavioral change, raise awareness of social issues, and promote sustainability. Overall, this course equipped me with analytical, creative, and ethical skills that I can use to connect marketing innovation with meaningful social impact, allowing me to become a professional who drives both organizational success and positive change in society.
**Provides a thorough and detailed description of the challenges or obstacles they encountered during the course, how they overcame them, and what they learned from doing so.**
During the course, one of the biggest challenges I faced was managing my time effectively while balancing academic responsibilities with personal and professional commitments. The workload required extensive reading, research, and critical analysis, and I often found it difficult to keep up with deadlines when multiple tasks overlapped. Initially, I underestimated the time needed for assignments, particularly those involving complex research or group coordination. To overcome this, I developed a structured weekly schedule, broke larger projects into smaller, achievable tasks, and set personal deadlines earlier than the actual due dates. I also relied on digital planners and reminders to stay organized and held myself accountable. When I began to feel overwhelmed, I practiced discipline by setting specific study hours and taking short breaks to stay focused and motivated. Collaborating with classmates and seeking guidance from my instructor helped me manage my workload more efficiently and gain new perspectives. Through this experience, I learned that effective time management is not only about meeting deadlines but also about maintaining quality, balance, and consistency. This challenge ultimately taught me the value of planning, prioritizing, and adapting under pressure skills that will greatly benefit me in my future career, where managing multiple responsibilities and maintaining productivity are key to success.

Throughout this course, I gained a deeper understanding of the essential role marketing plays in today’s competitive environment. One topic that stood out was the integration of the marketing mix with consumer behavior insights. This framework helped me appreciate how each element works together strategically to influence buyer decisions, something I hadn’t fully grasped before.  I acquired new skills in analyzing market trends and consumer behavior to develop effective, innovative marketing strategies. For example, learning about influencer marketing and social media messaging gave me tools to create authentic campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. These skills align well with the course outcome of synthesizing market trends and applying marketing techniques to support decision-making.
This knowledge equips me to be a more effective agent of positive social change by helping craft marketing messages that promote inclusivity and social responsibility. I now better understand how marketing can go beyond selling products to shaping societal values, as seen in campaigns that highlight diversity or ethical issues. This will be especially valuable in any future role where I’m responsible for brand communication or campaign strategy. I see the lessons from this course applying directly to real-life marketing roles and beyond. Whether developing product strategies, managing brand reputation, or analyzing market share, the skills I gained will help me make informed decisions that balance business goals with ethical considerations. The emphasis on creativity, innovation, and cultural sensitivity will help me navigate the dynamic marketing landscape effectively.
One challenge I encountered was staying organized and managing time effectively across multiple weekly discussions and assignments. The volume of reading, research, and writing initially felt overwhelming. To overcome this, I created a detailed schedule prioritizing tasks and setting aside specific blocks of time for course work. This strategy improved my productivity and reduced stress. It also taught me the importance of time management and consistent effort in succeeding at demanding courses. Overall, this course has broadened my perspective on marketing as a powerful tool for business success and social impact. It has prepared me with the knowledge and mindset to contribute meaningfully to both organizational goals and positive societal change.

    ## HUM 102 Module Two Project Proposal Guidelines and Rubric

    ### Overview

In this course, we are exploring how the humanities teach us about each other and also about ourselves. Creative works allow us to make sense of our own identities as well as the world around us. They can serve as an entry point for understanding complicated topics. For this assignment, you will choose a topic (diversity, mental health, or activism) and two creative works that you will use to compare various subject areas of the humanities in relation to your chosen topic.

This assignment builds toward Part One of the project, and you will expand on this work in Module Four as you further analyze your chosen creative works. Before working on this assignment, consult the Project Guidelines and Rubric in the Supporting Materials section below.

    ### Directions

You will use the Project Template for this assignment and add to the same template for project drafts that you will complete in later modules. In Module Two, you will draft the first two components of Part One of your project using questions 1 and 2 of this template. In Modules Four and Five, you will complete different sections of the same template for the project drafts. Then in Module Seven, you will revise and compile your work on all sections of the template as the final project.

In this proposal, you will identify two creative works associated with your chosen topic (mental health, diversity, or activism). You will use these works and the topic throughout the term on the project drafts. The creative works must be from two different humanities subject areas listed below. These creative works can be selected from the list of works located in the Project Resources, linked in the Supporting Materials section below. Alternatively, you may choose to select two creative works that are not included in the provided list with your instructor’s approval.

You may choose from the following humanities subject areas:

    – Visual art (paintings, photographs, sculpture, architecture, drawing, film)
    – Performing arts (theater, dance, music, opera)
    – Literature (novels, poems, scripts for plays, short stories, song lyrics)

Specifically, you must address the following:

Specify which topic you have chosen to use throughout the project and the two creative works that you have chosen that fit that topic. Use the two creative works to compare various subject areas of the humanities in relation to your chosen topic. Address the following criteria in Part One:

    1. Creative Works: Describe the two creative works.

    1. Your chosen topic (mental health, diversity, or activism)
    2. The names of the chosen creative works
    3. The subject area of the humanities they fall under (visual, literary, or performing arts)

    – Understand the Topic: Describe how the chosen creative works can be used to understand the topic.

    1. A. How do the different humanities subject areas you have chosen (visual, literary, or performing arts) approach the topic?

    ### What to Submit

    Use the
[Project Template](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/course_documents/HUM%20102%20Project%20Template.docx?isCourseFile=true) to create your Project Proposal and submit questions 1 and 2 from Part One for grading. You must cite your chosen creative works. If other sources are used, follow APA guidelines for citations both throughout and at the end of your paper. Keep in mind that for your completed project, you will need to cite two creative works that you chose as well as at least two resources used to research your topic (mental health, diversity, or activism). This submission includes creative works and resources provided in the Project Resources.

Although Brightspace allows the addition of video notes in assignment submissions, you may not use the Video Note tool to complete this assignment.

These textbook chapters from the sociological perspective will provide you with important background information on the three topics you may choose from for your project.

Textbook: Self, Society, and the Humanities, Chapter 3: Minority, Racial, and Ethnic Groups
This chapter gets to the heart of diversity by defining what is meant by racial, ethnic, and minority groups and how stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination may come into play. This resource will help you choose the topic for your project.

For instructions on accessing your textbook, refer to the VitalSource information section of the Start Here areas of the course.

As you read, consider the following:

    – How do music and other art forms promote diversity?
    – Consider your favorite movie or TV series. Does it portray characters from different groups? Is the portrayal fair, or do you perceive stereotypes being played out?

Textbook: Self, Society, and the Humanities, Chapter 4: What Is Mental Illness?
This chapter explains what mental illness is from a medical and sociological model and discusses the stigma that may come with a mental illness diagnosis. This resource will help you choose the topic for your project.

For instructions on accessing your textbook, refer to the VitalSource information section of the Start Here areas of the course.

As you read, consider the following:

    – How might the visual arts, such as films or TV shows, help decrease the stigma of mental illness?
    – Can you think of any artists, musicians, or other creators who have brought attention to the issue of mental illness in our society?

Textbook: Self, Society, and the Humanities, Chapter 5: Social Movements
This chapter discusses what social movements are, how activists play a role in social movements, what characteristics will help a social movement succeed, and how social movements have changed over the years. This resource will help you choose the topic for your project.

For instructions on accessing your textbook, refer to the VitalSource information section of the Start Here areas of the course.

As you read, consider the following:

    – How has creative expression furthered the cause of activists?
    – Can you think of any specific creative works that are associated with activist movements?

    1. Briefly summarize the information release and describe the following as they relate to it:
    – Timing.
    – Target audience.
    – Medium (press release, press briefing, advisory, public service announcement, et cetera).
    – Support for the message (science-based, facts, evidence, et cetera).
    2. Describe three effective guiding criteria to which a public health agency's messaging should adhere. Cite support from a reliable professional or academic source.
    3. Evaluate if the information release met the stated criteria and provide specific examples to illustrate.
